Pool time is limited and lanes are shared. Manage squads, lanes, and per-session fees in one place rather than across emails, spreadsheets, and chat groups.

  • Training Groups & Session Management — members sign up to a specific group within a session — a squad, a lane, or an ability group. Group access can be restricted by membership category, gender, or age. Each group has its own leader, capacity limit, and waiting list; when a place opens up the next person is notified automatically. A configurable tap-out cutoff prevents last-minute withdrawals.
  • Attendance Register & Training History — members tap into their training group before a session. If someone arrives without having tapped in, coaches and poolside helpers can add them by QR scan or name search — ensuring ICE and medical details are always accessible at the session. The full register feeds into a club-wide training history: track attendance trends, see which sessions are most popular, and identify swimmers whose attendance has changed.
  • Training Wallet — ideal for lane-hire sessions that charge per-session fees. Members top up their wallet in the app and the fee is deducted automatically when they sign up. Direct debits keep their wallet topped up.
  • Training Leader Places — reserve places on a session for the coaches and helpers who lead it, so the lane is never full before the people running it have a spot.

Events, results, and open water

From club time trials to open-water swims, keep the events calendar, the results, and the safety information together.

  • Club Race Timing & Results — a full timing and results system for club time trials and events. The timer starts the event stopwatch in the app; finishers tap to record their position and finish time. A single scan uploads all results to the club portal. Results are editable before confirmation, then emailed to each participant individually or as a full results list.
  • Personal Bests & Season's Bests — members keep their own PBs and SBs, which belong to them and stay with them if they change clubs.
  • National Race Database — members search for upcoming UK events directly in the app, including open-water swims. Tap to add one to their calendar, or submit it via the in-app form if it's not in the database yet. Events are verified by the connectMyClub team, who add the official website and a precise what3words start location.
  • Accident & Incident Reports — submitted from the poolside or the water's edge, with what3words location, photos, and automatically retrieved weather data.
  • ICE & Medical Details — emergency contact and medical information is available to coaches at every session, which matters most where phones are left in the changing room.

Junior safeguarding and club admin

  • Junior Safeguarding — independent safeguarding switches give granular control over what junior members can see and do. Includes a DBS-check gate for adult-to-junior messaging. All default to on.

  • Digital Disclaimers — require members to accept a disclaimer before joining any specific training group. Fully customisable per group.
  • Membership & Renewals — online membership forms, automated renewal reminders, and full membership management without a separate spreadsheet.
  • Member Alerts — clubs send push notifications directly to members' phones for time-sensitive information: pool closures, session changes, and urgent announcements. Alerts also fire automatically for new message board posts, incoming direct messages, and group chat activity.
